เรื่องราวของครอบครัวหนึ่งที่เช่าและอาศัยอยู่ในตึกแถวเก่า ๆ เฟย ลูกหลานครอบครัวเชื้อสายจีน อาศัยอยู่กับ นก แม่ของเขาและอากงที่ป่วยติดเตียงที่บ้าน ส่วนพ่อหายตัวไปในการในเหตุการณ์ทางการเมืองปี 2553 นกยังคงเชื่อว่าสักวันสามีจะกลับมาที่บ้าน ในขณะที่เฟยพยายามดิ้นรนเพื่อหาทางออกให้กับตัวเองและครอบครัวภายใต้สิ่งที่มองไม่เห็น

​It is a film about a lower-middle-class Thai-Chinese family living in a rented house that is going to be expropriated. Fei, the descendent of a Chinese man, lives with his mother Nok, and together they attend his grandfather who’s sick in bed. Fei’s father was missing in a political event in 2010. But Nok still holds the belief that one day he will return, while Fei struggles to seek a way out for his family under the growing pressure imposed by the invisible forces…
